Western Cadet Academy

Western Cadet Academy (WCA) is a part of the Northwest Joint Training Center and exists to improve the cadet program in Washington Wing (WAWG).  WCA offers cadets courses for cadet basics, airmen, NCOs, Senior NCOs, and young cadet officers.

 

The 2009 WCA training sessions at Weston High School in Arlington are scheduled for the weekend dates noted below.  The class selections for these sessions will be posted in the near future.  Remember, WCA registration is done on line through the Wing web site at this address: http://www.wawg.cap.gov/Pages/wca_entrance.html

 - January 10 and 11, 2009
 - March 14 and 15, 2009
 - May 2 and 3, 2009  (same weekend as the WAWG Spring Conference, CC Call, and CAC meeting)
 - October 10 and 11, 2009

 

MISSION

“Instruction in the components of the CAP Cadet Program while providing the tools and experience necessary to cultivate effective leaders and operators for the benefit of their futures and the future of CAP — To instill knowledge, promoting teamwork, pride and esprit de corps, leading to overall mission preparedness.
